    I want to disable the ping in my server.
    I have installed CSF Firewall so I go to ICMP_IN =Off
    to disable the ping.

    I restart the service, but I try one of my dominans and I get ping response....

    also I check the proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_echo_ignore_all has the value 0

    So I don't know what's wrong .....

    Colud you help me?

    Thank You

    Hello @diracuser

    setting /proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_echo_ignore_all to 1 should have blocked ping requests though it would not be present after a reboot.

    You could also add the following line to /etc/sysctl.conf:
    Code:
    net.ipv4.icmp_echo_ignore_all = 1

    save it then run:
    Code:
    sysctl -p
    or reboot
