    Hi everyone...

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, but I think I'm in the right one...

I know that I can disable scanning of messenges by mailscanner through the web interface (ConfigServer MailScanner FE -> MailScanner Performance -> Disable Scan Messages) but can anyone tell me how I can do this by hand?

I'm looking to write a script that would automatically disable mailscanner scanning if the mail queue exceeds a certain length to allow it to flush out a bit...

    Muchos Gracias, mi amigos....

As it turns out, all that button does is switches a flag in the MailScanner.conf (usually found in /usr/mailscanner/etc/MailScanner.conf). The specific flag is "Scan Messages" and it changes it to "off".

    Have a great day everyone
