    Hello dear Forum,

in the course of the new basic data protection regulation I would like to deactivate any Apache Access Logs during my WHM/cPanel installation. However, the error logs of PHP should be preserved. How can this be achieved?

    Hi @elyday

While this wouldn't be able to be done during the installation, once you do install cPanel you should be able to modify the templates at /var/cpanel/templates/apache2_4/ to disable the customlog as well as any access logs. I would work with a qualified system administrator on how specifically to do this if you're unsure as well. If you don't have one you might find one here: Resources | cPanel Forums

    Thanks!
