SOLVED disable_functions in PHP.INI

Hello Everyone,

I am currently trying to setup CSF on my server and section where in it tells us to disable_functions in the PHP Configuration, no matter how many times i enter the details, After every restart of Apache those settings are gone

disable_functions = show_source, system, shell_exec, passthru, exec, phpinfo, popen, proc_open

I am running various version of PHP and i have changed this variable in all the php.ini files :-

/opt/cpanel/ea-php71/root/etc/php.ini
/opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/etc/php.ini
/opt/cpanel/ea-php56/root/etc/php.ini
/opt/cpanel/ea-php55/root/etc/php.ini

But after they go away after Apache restart.

Can somebody tell me what am i doing wrong ?

Please try to edit php.ini file through WHM >> Software >> MultiPHP INI Editor

Could you verify which version of cPanel is installed on your system, and which PHP handler you are using for each version of PHP?

and what about if the ini file has many disabled functions in the disable_functions field and i want to enable one of them?

I'd need to enable curl_multi_exec()
