I disabled webalizer stats in WHM Tweak Settings with "Enable Webalizer stats". I turned it off.

cPanel did this:

Updating your system to reflect any changes...

Updating “Bandwidth usage warning: 80%” from “On” to “Off”.
“Bandwidth usage warning: 80%” was updated.
Updating “Enable Webalizer stats” from “On” to “Off”.
“Enable Webalizer stats” was updated.
Processing post action for Enable Webalizer stats:

[2019-03-23 15:01:36 -0400] The following RPMs are unneeded on your system and should be uninstalled:
[2019-03-23 15:01:36 -0400] cpanel-webalizer-2.23_08-1.cp1168

[2019-03-23 15:01:38 -0400] Restoring service monitoring.
“Enable Webalizer stats” was updated.

WHY??? I told it to turn off, not remove. I still wanted it.

Not sure why you want it still installed if you disable it, however if you enable it again it will get reinstalled.

Then you may want to look at stats configuration option in whm as that may give you the more granular control you are looking for.

When you disable Webalizer or any of the statistics software from tweak settings they're removed. If you just want to turn it off you need to do so from WHM>>Server Configuration>>Statistics Software Configuration. If you'd like webalizer reinstalled simply re-enable it in tweak settings.

Thanks!
