Disabling Anonymous FTP access server wide

Tried to post this to thread http://forums.cpanel.net/f5/disabling-anonymous-ftp-access-server-wide-5481.html but it would not let me because the thread is too old, unfortunately that thread is very high in search engines for those search terms so it is the first page someone will hit, anyway here is my entry to that thread is admin want to put it there for others.

If you found this thread like me in a search the above is irrelevant now, you can stop anonymous access server wide by simply logging on to WHM as root administrator find

Home » Service Configuration » FTP Server Configuration then select:

Allow Anonymous Logins : No
Allow Anonymous Uploads : No

That’s it……………….

I usually search for it first before I bother to go through the panel itself, I am not in the panel everyday so it helps to have something like this available on Google search ;~}
