I was searching the forums for this but didnt find anything... in Service section under exim

Discard emails for users who have exceeded their quota instead of keeping them in the queue.

How come this doesnt actually work? Email queue still fills up from those who are over their disk space.

The feature does work, but only for cPanel accounts over quota I believe, not the individual virtual users.

Like what exactly the default accounts ? And not any of the added email accounts added by the user?

Sorry, I was going on memory. I've just checked and exim does indeed check quotas down to the virtual email account level in the /home/account/etc/domain/quota file.

I've definitely seen over quota emails dropped (not queued). Are you sure that the queued emails aren't the over quota bounces, which are a different issue?

Edit: Just to be sure, did you check your exim.conf at the bottom to make sure that the quota line is listed in the retry configuration.
