India
In the WHM > tweak Settings >> "Notifications"

enable the Disk Space Usage Warnings and save.

FYI,

I had submitted a trouble ticket regarding this about 2 months ago. The issue was resolved on my server and the CPanel tech indicated that it was a problem with their scripts. The tech also said that he/she submitted it to be included in an upcoming CPanel release, but i'm not sure when that will happen.

How can I most easily and authoritatively work out whether these notifications are being sent out or not, i.e. whether this problem is affecting my server or not?

P.S. Where are these notifications sent?

1. To the offending email account in question, or
2. To the main contact email for the domain
3. 1+2

In my book the answer should be 3. :)

This is really an ODD bug - all my customers on all get disk usage warnings however the admins do not get an email anymore and I really dont like this - it wastes an obscene amount of time trying to trouble shoot an acct when the user calls screaming that their mysql db wont work or their email is jammed and we try to troubleshoot a problem and 9 times out of 10 its disk usage they have exceeded and they ignored the emails when we catch it and point the issue out then they are like OH yea I got that email doh!!!! Well why did you ignore it? So frustrating!!
I so preferred it when the admin got a notice of exceeded disk usage so we could contact the customer promptly get an upgrade if need be or let them know to delete some files before a problem happens!

Stinky Bug!

Does anyone know the script(s) to run that should send out these notifications? I've setup a dummy account and almost filled it, and am now looking to test it without having to wait until tomorrow to view the results after the script(s) run overnight.

The answer (on my server) is, encouragingly - 3.

I ran /scripts/quotacheck

and received two emails, one to the offending email account in question, and another to the primary hosting account (see below)

Bottom line: it's all good here.

1. "The mailbox [email protected] is almost full. You should remove some emails from the box as soon as possible to prevent losing any future mail. This mailbox is currently 95.43% full"
2. "The following users are near or have exceeded their individual mail quota:
[email protected]: critical"

'Course, it would be nice to have some finer-grain control over
1. Frequency of these messages
2. Which limits, eg. 60%, 80%, 95%, trigger which messages
3. Wording of these messages

... but I didn't get a message sent to the main (our) server email address to give me an overall summary of which accounts have a quota problem - and I'm sure I've seen this sent in the past.

Looking at WHM > Contact Manager

but nothing jumps out at me there.

Anyone know how/where I can organise this?

My customers don´t receive full quota mail notifications

Hello all,

Has this issue been fixed? I run manually the script /scripts/quotacheck and none mail is sent. Note that, there is sites with exceded quota.

My WHM Tweak Settings,

Notify the admin, (or the reseller), when an account has reached the "critical" Disk Usage state (enabled)
Notify the admin, (or the reseller), when an account has reached the "full" Disk Usage state (enabled)
Notify the admin, (or the reseller), when an account has reached the "warn" Disk Usage state. (enabled)
Disk Space Usage Warnings. (enabled)

Can I edit the quota exceded mail notification?

Greetings.
