    Okay, I am perplexed.

A reseller added a domain today and when he looked at the space usage, it read 14 MB in the WHM. However, he had not put any files in there so the 14 mb reading was obviousliy wrong.

Just to be sure, I went to the user's directory and ran a &du -h& command and got a reading of about 250 kb which is about normal for a new account with few files in it.

The reading was also incorrect in the user control panel. It read the same amount -- 14 mb.

I removed and then re-added the account, but it did not solve this and the space usage is still inflated saying 14 mb. After adding some files via FTP, the space usage went up to 15 mb.

Has anyone had this happen to them? Why is this happening? How do I fix it?

    Thanks.

Thanks. I just tried that. No luck. Still reports incorrectly.

    Try the following :

    find / -user username*

This wil give a list of all the files that that user owns.

for every thing that is not supose to be owned by that user use :

    chown -R root.root /example/example*/

1 * use the username of your acount
2 * the files to be chownd

    Then run

    /scripts/fixquotas

    Regards

    Martin
