I've just upgraded from cPanel v9.9 to 11.4.11-RELEASE. Overall, I find the changes great, however I can't understand how to use sort files by size in "Disk Space Usage" in any way that makes sense. For example, when sorting files in my public_html directory from largest to smallest they'll be ordered like this

    96.90 Meg
    93.37 Meg
    9.86 Meg
    9.02 Meg
    87.88 Meg
    86.43 Meg
    858.17 Meg
    84.40 Meg
    8.25 Meg
    774.19 Meg
    69.14 Meg
    661.26 Meg
    58.10 Meg

and so on. It appears that at some level it is sorting all the items starting with 9 first, then 8, etc. Lovely idea, but useless when trying to find the largest files or directories (which may be GB in size, but start with a lower number).

Is there something I don't understand about how to sort by actual size or is this a bug in cPanel? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would recommend submitting a bug report to http://bugzilla.cpanel.net - might have been a simple oversight by our developers.
