Hi,

I have tried to research this but can't find an answer.

Recently I started receiving email subject : Drive Space Warning on host.mydomain.co.uk

They state:
Drive Warning: /dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00 (/) is 81% full

Now, I can see where disk usage warnings are set in WHM for hosting accounts, but this is coming to me, the admin, and it's a volume warning... Where is this limit/threshold set, and can I adjust it?

It's no big deal as the volume still has a few gigs left yet, but it's annoying me, and I would like to set the threshold to a more meaningful level.

Tailwatch sends those disk usage warning when your disk space reaches 80% and critical warnings when it reaches 90%

This is set in Tweak Settings and done automatically by tailwatch/chkservd

WHM > Tweak Settings > Disk Space Usage Warnings

Disk Space Usage Warnings - this appears to be just one checkbox in Tweak Settings.

You say that tailwatch/checksrv is responsible for checking the available space, and (presumably) reporting warnings on entire volumes.

Are you aware of any config files for this, as I would like to change the 80% value to something else.

Thanks.

Sorry to bump... but can anyone give me a config file for this? It's really irritating!

No, this is hard coded and pre-defined for an 80% warning and a 90% critical message.

You can either enable or disable the messages in Tweak Settings.

If its irritating and you dont want the messages then disable them in Tweak Settings.

You can write your own perl or bash script to monitor disk usage and email you.
