    Just checked on one account:

    du gives

    7.204 MB

    cPanel gioves

    7.04 MB

    WHM indicates:

    6.0 MB

    Three places -- Three figures

This is a new account so just following if everything is "Displayed" correctly. To me it doesn't look to be so at least from the above factual figures.

    Any comments?
    I am on 10.2.0-CURRENT 81
    RH9

    Thanks

BTW i have checked the ownership etc and everything is as it should be.
The closest to match is cPanel and du from ssh. WHM is way off from real values :/

    Go on, have a guess
du is only ever going to give you part of the story. You should be checking the levels in the quota utility in shell, and/or use find from the / partition down checking for files owned by the user and/or the group in question. IIRC the cPanel quota is cached, wheras the WHM check uses the disk quota system, though I may be wrong, but du is never a good assessment of the space used.

    WHM is showing less.
Just as i said, it's a new account setup, with major usage being mails.

    7.24/1.024 = 7.035... ~ 7.04 as shown by cPanel

If it had been that cpanel or WHM was showing values much > du i would have checked for other files owned by that user/group ... but that's not so. WHM is showing LESS.

    For now the status is:

    du -- 13.892
    WHM -- 13
    cPanel -- 13.57 (~13.892/1.024)

    Thanks
    Anup
