I had a customer receive this error:

The user's main account is only using 50% of disk space...any ideas?

I have the same problem on a brand new account. Actual space used is 252kb, yet CPanel reports 166MB! I have run /scripts/fixquotas, but it did not fix the problem. For the time being I have increased the account's quota so as to prevent any further error messages.

Could this be related to yesterday's upgrade to CPanel 6.2.0-S49? Great upgrade, but maybe some surprises?

Any advice will be appreciated. ;)

Anyone know where I can change the wording of the e-mail?

    Similar Problem Here

I hae a similar problem, and am also running Stable 49.

Four of my accounts show large amounts of disk usage in 'modify quotas', and two of these accounts received the 'warning' email. However, the actual use of disk space -- as measured by 'du' -- shows their usage unchanged since yesterday, and their disk usage is substantially lower than the set quota.

I did run /scripts/fixquotas, but it did not alter anything that I see onscreen. I assumed that the user's 'disk usage' is calculated once at night, and that I am just continuing to see the erroneous amount calculated last night.

I would guess that tomorrow, their reported disk usage will be correct,
but just can't check that right now ;)

Check the usage in their tmp directory. That space is counted also. On small accounts it's necessary sometimes to clean that up.
