Hello, today I got an warning email from my cPanel which says DISKCRITICAL System uses %93,07 of available disk space. So I deleted some of backups to open some space but the problem is still here.
I tried to figure out the problem, and managed to understand it, but don't know how to solve this.
# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
devtmpfs 15G 0 15G 0% /dev
tmpfs 15G 32K 15G 1% /dev/shm
tmpfs 15G 1.1G 14G 8% /run
tmpfs 15G 0 15G 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
/dev/mapper/centos-root 50G 38G 13G 76% /
/dev/sda1 1014M 216M 799M 22% /boot
/dev/mapper/centos-home 315G 20G 296G 7% /home
/dev/loop0 2.1G 3.6M 1.9G 1% /tmp
tmpfs 3.0G 12K 3.0G 1% /run/user/42
tmpfs 3.0G 40K 3.0G 1% /run/user/0
As you can see cPanel/WHM using /dev/mapper/centos-root which is 50GB only. The huge space is on /dev/mapper/centos-home which is 315GB and using only 20GB. I haven't configured cPanel to use that amount of space or made any configuration on this issue. Installed as default and started to use it nearly 8 months ago and now I cannot solve it.
What should I do? Can you please instruct me to solve this problem step by step? Thank you.
