We have setup a DNS cluster with 2 separate cPanel DNS only servers.

We face the same problem whenever we add a hosting server to the cluster and synchronize the DNS zones.

The DNS zones get copied over to the DNS servers however the zone entries are not added to the named.conf file on either DNS server.

    Why is this happening?

    This is what we found:

When synchronizing the zones, if we use version v2(fast), only the ".db" files are copied over and no entries are made in named.conf. If we use v1(slow), the entries are made in named.conf, but we have to run it more than few times for all zones to be copied over and the entries to be made.

Is there a fix for this behavior?
