    Current situation: (all server running CentOS 3.4)

    server 1 = cpanel DNSONLY bind 9.2.4
    server 2 = cpanel 9.9.9 S15 bind 9.2.4
    server 3 = cpanel 9.9.9 S15 bind 9.2.4
    server 4 = cpanel 9.9.9 S15 bind 9.2.4

    DNS cluster setup

    server2 => server1
    server3 => server1
    server4 => server1

    Why are all DNS zones from server 2 visible on server 3 and 4
    Why are all DNS zones from server 3 visible on server 2 and 4
    Why are all DNS zones from server 4 visible on server 2 and 3

    Manually deleting them via http://ip:2086/scripts/killdnslist didn't fix it.
    All zones from other servers were replicated again afterwards.

    Also http://ip:2086//scripts/editdnslist is showing DNS zones for domains not on this server. They don't even appear in /var/named

    Where is the configuration of the DNS cluster stored on the server? Where do the above scripts gets the dns zones?

    When i update a dns zone onto server2 i get:
    zone xxx.be/IN: loaded serial 1077553077
    OK

    Bind reloading on server2 using rndc zone: [xxx.be]
    Bind reloading on server1 using rndc zone: [xxx.be]
    Error reloading bind on server1: rndc: 'reload' failed: not found

    Zone Modified!

    And believe it or not, the zone xxx.be is again pressent onto the servers server3 and server4
