Hello,

Kindly need someone help to guide me for DNS Cluster.
I have configuration like bellow:
Code:
+-----------------------+
cPanel webserver
dns2 (ns2.domain.com)
+-----------------------+
|
+------------+-------------+
dns1 (ns1.domain.com)
cPanel DNS Only
+--------------------------+
What role on both server i should use? Standalone, Synchronize or Writes Only?

Thank You

@cPanelMichael Hi Thanks for reply.

The guidance make me a little confuse.
My question is, what role should i used for both server.

Server1:
cPanel / WHM, host the web server and used as name server 2 / ns2.
What role should i used for this DNS Cluster? Standalone, Synchronize or Writes Only?

Server2:
cPanel DNS Only, used as name server 1 / ns1
What role should i used for this DNS Cluster? Standalone, Synchronize or Writes Only?

at this time, i setup Server1 role as Write Only and at Server2 i didn't setup any Cluster at all.
Configuration at Server1:
SERVER1.JPG

Configuration at Server2:
SERVER2.JPG
Does this correct?

Thank You

Your current configuration will work as expected. You don't have to setup a role for "Server1" on the DNS-Only server.

Thank you.
