We run a DNS cluster using two installs of cPanel DNS only. I think it's a great setup but when we add say a dedicated server customer to the cluster their server or any other server tied to the cluster for that matter has full access to see/modify all DNS zones in the cluster. It'd be nice if there was a way to only allow the server to see/modify zones that are local to the server. Is there any way to disable that short of setting them up as a reseller and removing the DNS functions?

Rather than clustering them to the machines at all, it would be preferable to help them setup their own nameservers and control their own DNS on the dedicated machine that way. There is not a way to prevent them from seeing other zones clustered on the other servers with the current setup.
