Hello,
I am looking for some real documentation for the cpanel dnsonly.
I did install the dnsonly on a FC5 box that only is for DNS service.
I was already running some own scripts for syncs, i disabled that for testing with the dnsonly setup.
Where does the dnsonly server knows where to look/save the synced records?
I dont see any configuration file regarding path information.
If i do sync all, a lot happens but nor named.conf as zonefiles are updated/saved on the HDD.
My named is the standard named package from FC5 and is chrooted.
The install guide on www.cpanel.net shows a nice picture how to set things in the clustering page. But it does not say on what machine you have to set the standalone to sync. Is that on the master or dnsonly machine!?
And is there going to be debian sarge support for dnsonly in the future?
And is there a un-install procedure for dnsonly on my debian machine (because it just dont work)?
Danny.
