DNS cluster

I've read about the DNS clustering and I think I have it set up right but no new zones are being created on the new server. In other words, the old server has all the old zones and the new server has none at all. I set the old server to "synchronize" and the new server to "stand-alone".

I'm just worried that if I set the new server to "synchronize" it'll sync my empty zone list to the old server. That would be very very bad.

Am I missing something?

No the New server would not have the write permission to server one.
