I have a client who has created two domains in WHM, and assigned them to a user. When I login to cPanel, I can see those domains is under the Statistics Software Configuration area, but not under add-on domains or parked domains.
These 2 new domains should act as independent websites, but are currently just loading the "main website."
In other words:
- Customer already had domain1.com, and added domains (registered to him already, name servers already pointing to this dedicated server) domain2.com and domain3.com via WHM. WHM shows domain2.com and domain3.com as being assigned to user1. I can login to WHM and see both domain2.com and domain3.com as DNS zones, but not as subdomains or parked domains.
- I login to cPanel as user1, and do not see domain2.com or domain3.com as subdomains or as parked domains (just like WHM shows).
If I browse to http://domain2.com I get the exact same content as http://domain1.com.
How can I set domain2.com and domain3.com as being subdomains?
I tried deleting the domain3.com zone within WHM, then adding it as a subdomain in cPanel (which I thought would re-add the domain) but I got an error that the domain already existed in BIND.
Ideas?
Thanks!
