    Hello,

I plan to be as detailed on this issue as possible - hit me up if you have further questions as all help is greatly appreciated.

Ok, I am moving from my old dedicated server to a new one, with this new one having WHM/cPanel. I have transferred all my files, and I have 3 free IPs - one for the server, and two for private nameservers.

I have setup the two ips with ns1 and ns2 nameservers through my registrar. I have setup in the DNS an A record for the nameservers, for the domain, and for the domain hostname - all showing correct IPs.

I have changed my domain at my registrar to point to my new private nameservers - however, the site that loads is still the site from my old dedicated server. When I ping my domain, I get the IP for my old dedicated server.

Any advice or help on this matter is greatly appreciated.

    To elaborate:

    mydomain.com - old dedicated server's ip
    ns1.mydomain.com - correct ip
    ns2.mydomain.com - correct ip

    -=In WHM=-
    mydomain - ns1
    mydomain - ns2

    mydomain.com. - A - correct ip
    ns1 - A - correct ip
    ns2 - A - correct ip
    hostname.mydomain.com - A - correct ip

As stated above, when I ping mydomain.com however - I still get the old IP from my previous provider.

in WHM to go edit dns zone and make sure you have the proper IP set, also go to dnsreport.com and make sure your using the correct nameserverips.

Also check the IP listed in /var/cpanel/users/username

    IP=section

Man - thanks for showing me that site. I have a LOAD of problems on that dnsreport, and I have no idea where to start.

I will post back up on what I do to fix this.
