I recently installed cpanel on a new linux box, and have been having real problems getting DNS to work. Currently I'm not sure where the error is?

I set up Cpanel using ns1.vbtweb.com ns2.vbtweb.com on two seperate dedicated IP's.

I configured my domain using network solutions to point to those ip's and dns's.

It works. I included A records for the host, the mail, and so on.

    It works.

Then to test it a bit further before implementing a 3rd party billing system, I moved an existing domain I am not currently using, (computerer.net) to those domain servers in Godaddy. It took them without error.

It has been many days, and it should be resolved by now, but its not resolving to it.

Is this problem with Godaddy or Network Solutions, or with my Cpanel configuration?

Any help would be great! :)

From the looks of your dnsreport the SOA record has not been updated. There have been several ongoing issues with new installs and DNS. One possibility is an rndc error when restarting Bind/Named. You can try running /scripts/fixndc and also search on the forum depending on what OS you are running.

    Fixed..

Great website btw.. Defiently going in my bookmarks.

I don't know if I just got lucky or what, but by clicking on and initiating

[[Perform a DNS Cleanup]] on WHM it started working and the fail that was registering on the site you offered cleared up.

    Thank you
