    Hello!

I am moving from one cPanel server to another.

I want to move just one domain to begin with.

    My old server is: ns1.mydomain.com [111.222.333.444] and ns2.mydomain.com [111.222.333.445]

Can I configure my new server to still be ns1.mydomain.com [222.333.444.555] and ns2.mydomain.com [222.333.444.556]

or does the new server have to have different names, say ns3 and ns4?

    Thanks,
    BPW

    Hello :)

The new server will need new name servers if the name server IP addresses are going to be different. For example, if you do not have a separate server for DNS purposes, you will need to create new name servers at the registrar with IP addresses that added to the new server. EX:

    NS3.YOURDOMAIN.COM [New IP]
    NS4.YOURDOMAIN.COM [New IP]

    Thank you.
