DNS only annoyance

Couple web servers use one DNS only server in cluster.
On web servers, when you open Edit DNS zone, or another screen, all DNS zones from cluster (DNS only) server are pulled together with those that does not exist on the server.

So when you click edit that is not local, it says db file cannot be found.

Could this be fixed by making EDIT DNS ZONE and other screens not pull zones from cluster server if zone files does not exist on the server.

its a DNS Server problem
