I had it running on suse 10.3 in our test environment, but we are going with centOS for the production envronment. I installed dnsonly on the CentOS 5.0 box, but when I try to connect via https://hostname:2087 I get nothing. I didn't have to do anything post-install with suse, is there something that needs to be done in CentOS?

    Thanks

Try making sure that cpsrvd is running you should get output similar to this:

    Code:
[root@xxxx]# ps auxwww | grep cpsrvd
    root 11145 0.0 0.5 21360 10508 ? S 17:12 0:00 cpsrvd - waiting for connections
    root 11212 0.0 0.0 4740 636 pts/0 S+ 17:23 0:00 grep cpsrvd

If cpsrvd is running, check and make sure that you don't have a firewall blocking port 2087. To be a bit more specific, what error do you get at hotsname:2087?

Have you tried https://IP:2087 to make sure that your hostname isn't having dns issues?
