DNS ONLY installs MySQL and runs it? disable=safe or unsafe

    Noticed that the latest cPanel DNS only installs mysql and runs it.
    I don't think this is needed for DNS - so just wondering if we can unload it.

    I dont see any reason for it to run - take ram - cpu etc

    Please advise,

    If you are not going to use mysql, you can remove it. It should not be needed by servers running DNS only.

    MySQL is necessary if you want cphulkd (brute force protection) functionality on your DNS-Only server.
