I have a DNS-only server that is going to be running on a DMZ.

Where can I find info on the ports that are required as they all have to be explicitly port forwared from the outside.

53-UDP is obvious and 2087-TCP to manage it. But what ports does the cluster sync run on and is there anything else that is needed?

    Go on, have a guess
The cluster sync uses port 2087 in/outbound. You also have to open port 53 in/outbound for both UDP and TCP. For cPanel updates you might also want to open port 873 for outbound rsync (cPanel used to use it but they may not anymore), plus the obvious ports that you might be using (22 for SSH, 25 for email).
