I just cant seem to find anything in the docs about this issue:

    1. I constantly get an error saying my hostname needs an "A" entry. I am running my own nameservers, and and no matter what I just cant seem to fix this issue.

    2. Every time I perform any DNS related function I get the following error prior to the rest of the script performing as expected:

ndc: connection to remote host closed
This may indicate that the remote server is using an older version of
the command protocol, this host is not authorized to connect,
    or the key is invalid.

Can someone tell me what this means and how to go about fixing it? My DNS seems to be working fine, everything resolves just fine and all that although my name based servers dont seem to work, (they return the primary shared IP and associated primary DNS ebtry instead)

    any help much appreciated,

run the /scripts/fixndc script. make sure that the name servers are on and running, and then run that script twice. Yes, twice.
