Just noticed this when restarting the dns/name server
named started ok Mar 29 22:58:37 localhost named[8586]: shutting down: flushing changes
all the way down it shows localhost named
localhost should actually be the hostname of the server... how can I change this ?
i checked the hosts file and most files in /etc ... what did i miss ?

    what is yourhostname ?

    on shell type:

    #hostname

if that gives localhost, best is to change the hostname from the WHM, else you can try changing it at /etc/sysconfig/network

make sure that you take a backup, in case of issues revert the files ;)
