Hello, can someone advise me on the correct DNS settings to be able to send emails from Cpanel on Godaddy's shared server? I contacted them and they just gave me an spf record: v=spf1 a mx ptr include:secureserver.net -all and it doesn't work. I can send mail to some like Gmail. A Hotmail reaches Junk Mail and other domains that I have in Godaddy with Office 365 never arrives.

I don't have the option to use the Email Deliverability tool in CPanel to see errors because they tell me that they can't activate it because of the hosting plan I have.

Hey there! I'm not sure we're going to be of much help if you don't have root access to the machine. With root access, we'd be able to check the mail logs on the server to see the exact error of why the messages aren't being delivered, or if there are any helpful errors with the SPF record that will help keep the mail out of the junk/spam folders.

With the access you have to the server, there really isn't much you can do and you'll need to rely on their support to get things adjusted and working. My general answer would be that email works well on a default cPanel server without any adjustments, as the mailserver and all necessary tools and ports are configured to work well out of the box.

I'm sorry I don't have more helpful details to provide on this one.

What I perceive is that the mail is not being correctly authenticated despite placing the recommended spf. Are there any similar cases reported from GoDaddy please?
