DNS solution after site transfer in whm

    Hi People,


    Afert a migrate several accounts from one server to a new server I have a question.

    The sites are working with the new IP address ( http://111.222.333.444/~username )

    But the current dns still on the old server. What come next ?

    What do I need to do now to point the DNS to this new IP?

    I believe when we move sites using the transfer tool on whm it already create DNS records. But What do I need to do now?

    You'll need to update your nameservers to use the new server IP address or addresses. First, you'd go to your domain registrar and re-register the nameservers with the new IP address(es).

    After that, you'd go to WHM > Basic cPanel & WHM Setup area to ensure you have the nameservers listed there. Click on "Add an A entry for this nameserver" and set the right IP for that nameserver.
