Updated DNS for a site and restarted EXIM (servers on a DNS cluster)

    DNSStuff says:

    How I am searching:
Searching for A record for travelfish.org at f.root-servers.net: Got referral to TLD1.ULTRADNS.NET. [took 95 ms]
Searching for A record for domain.org at TLD1.ULTRADNS.NET.: Got referral to ns1.mydomain.com. [took 50 ms]
Searching for A record for domain.org at ns1.mydomain.com.: Server failure! [took 2215 ms].

    Answer:
Server failure. There's a problem with the DNS server for mydomain.org.

Is this normal during propagation stage? If not what could cause this?

You may want to check the domain @ http://www.dnsreport.com

BTW, Exim has nothing to do with DNS, exim is an MTA aka Mail Transfer Agent aka your mail server.

I'm sorry I meant BIND lol

    Anyways,

I added an A entry for hostname and got:

IP=11.11.111.111 Bind reloading on server3 using rndc zone: [domain.com] Error reloading bind on server3: rndc: 'reload' failed: not found Bind reloading on server using rndc zone: [domain.com] Add Complete

    Why?
