    Hi.

I have my own collocated server, before I installed cPanel I had my domain hosted on my ISP's DNS. then I wanted to run my own DNS server. but I only have 1 IP. so I created:

    ns1.mydomain.com

but I need secondary too, what to do? can I use my ISP's primary ns server as my secondary?

    thank you in advance

You can use the second one as your ISP's nameserver.

There's also a free (and paid) service at everydns.net that gives you multiple name servers...

    works well.

Buy second IP and create ns2 - it's better choice, if you want to run own DNS servers.
