DNS Zones not created for new accounts

I am running Cpanel WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.9.0-S58
RedHat Enterprise 3 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

After upgrading to this version (yesterday) any new account created does not have the proper DNS zone files.

It seems that Cpanel does not create the files as it used to do with the older version.

Any fixes?

Same for me on Current / Release, and all zones have dissapeared from WHM, users cannot add Subdomains or anything

I found this in my cPanel error log:

BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Gzip.pm line 14.
Compilation failed in require at /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/bin/dnsadmin line 21

DNS Zones not created for new accounts/DNS zones gone

Had the same problem

Found error in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log
Log file said below was missing
Had to install compress::raw:zlib
in cpanel Install a Perl Module https://yourserver:2087/scripts/getperlmod

Any new accounts created during the time the problem was occuring had to be terminated & recreated.

I used the perlinstaller that can be found at http://layer2.cpanel.net
reinstalled perl and now it works again.
