Hello, i'd like to ask you guys a question, when i purchased a VPS, i prompted to create a hostname for it, i added host.domain.com.

After they set it up i changed the hostname to server.domain.com.

I have gone to my DNS though, WHM, -> DNS Functions -> Edit DNS Zone and i see host.domain.com, where as it should have been server.domain.com, same happens when i try to edit that zone, everything is host.domain.com instead of server.domain.com.

Do i have to manually change that??

You can remove the zone host.domain.com.

Then in the DNS zone of the domain domain.com you add an A record for server.domain.com.
