DNSMadeEasy - Do I have to delete DNS zones on WHM?

Basically, I was running my own nameservers for a few years, but now that I have DNS issues I want to use a 3rd-party service, because I'm bored of troubleshooting and securing BIND.

So, I went to dnsmadeeasy.com, added my domain, changed the nameserver at the domain registrar and now I am wondering do I have to delete the zone for that domain on WHM? Will other DNS zones work?

From what I understood, dnsmadeeasy is now my nameserver and WHM's DNS zone no longer matters, because the services provides the proper A record and I'm done - is that correct?

If not, what changes do I have to make to WHM?

Thank you for the support,
Oliver
