    Hi all

I'm just curious, who offer PSQL for their clients? My reason for asking, is it seems that it needs a lot of root interaction in order to work properly.

So, who offer it to their clients? And how?

This is offered in cPanel but not turned on by default. Run '/scripts/installpostgres' to install PostgreSQL and it will appear in cPanel if you enable the PostgreSQL feature in the feature manager.

You will get an interface to manage databases and user along with phppgadmin inside of cPanel to manage postgresql for each account. There should be no root interaction unless you need to make custom changes.

    Hi David

I know how to install it. I'm actually interested to find out how ppl use it, since one has to manually assign permissions to the user to create databases

They should be able to create databases inside cPanel without any interaction as long as they have available databases in their hosting package
