Hello, I have installed WHM/cPanel, and created an account for cPanel.

My problem is that when I go to the main IP of my server, I get the default cpanel splash page, rather than my index file on /public_html/

To actually go to the proper index file I need to append the username to the IP, like:

    x.x.x.x/~marco

What is the proper way to make the IP go to the proper index file? I have the same problem after I configured the domain nameservers to go to this IP. It just takes me to the default splash page.

Also I'm not sure if it's related to this issue too, but I've created subdomains using cPanel, yet when I try to access them, I get a name not resolved issue, so it seems the subdomain functionality isn't quite working either.

You'd have to assign the account you want to open on an IP, a dedicated IP address, if I understand you correctly.
