    Folks,
I am having an issue with setting up joomla into a virtual directory.

I want http://www.mydomain.com/ to act as if someone went to http://www.mydomain.com/joomla. I did the following:

    Code:
    /usr/local/apache/conf/userdata/std/2/myaccount/mydomain.com/extra.conf
    ServerName www.mydomain.com
    DocumentRoot /home/myaccount/www/joomla
So this obviously overwrote httpd.conf and http://mydomain.com doesn't work.

    Code:
    /usr/local/apache/conf/userdata/std/2/myaccount/mydomain.com/extra.conf
    ServerName mydomain.com
    ServerAlias www.mydomain.com
    DocumentRoot /home/myaccount/www/joomla
However this does not work either. Then I realized that files or directories within the original DocumentRoot of /home/myaccount/www/

    Suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Frank

Why not use the Redirect Tool in the accounts cPanel, instead?

Hmm, a bit early for me here, but the /www/ you have in your edit should not be needed, it's actually public_html.

I'm not sure how you'll get 2 doc roots here doing what you'd like to do.

In other words, when I go to yourdomain.com you want me to actually be sent to yourdomain.com/joomla/ but you want it to appear to be yourdomain.com, is that right?

Whats the URL for the second doc root hoping to be?
