Does Anyone Have a trick to Keep the Forum Open?

from logging you out if you actually read a few threads? If I spend around five minutes reading some threads it logs me out and then all the unread threads are gone. It has been doing this for quite some time, and now is really getting annoying. There is no setting to not log a person out, like on most forums, and losing replies and threads to read because the "forum" decided I should not read or write them is annoying.

Anyone have a fix, short of opening extra threads all the time?

I'm not sure what could be wrong, I have been here on multiple visits and usually spend 15 to 60 minutes per visit and I can not remember when the last time I had to login. When I did, it was because I hit the Logout icon by mistake.

Could your browser (or a program on your computer) be removing cookies frequently?

That just sets a cookie.

Umm, that cookie is what keeps you logged in. Set your browser to accept this domains cookie, tick that box in the forums header when you login and you're set. I've been logged into this forum for weeks. Each visit sets a new cookie which keeps the login values set correctly.
