I have a quick question. When adding an SSL cert to a specific site does Cpanel automatically redirect that site to https.
We thought we would have to add a 301 redirect to the https url for the site. When we did this it would get the "To Many Redirects" error.
When we removed the 301 redirect it would do the redirect anyway. I am wondering if this is a feature when you have SSL enabled on a site. We looked for some settings in Tweak Settings about this and most of them seemed to be for the WHM not individual sites.
Any info to clarify what is doing this would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

cPanel does not automatically configure a redirect to the website's secure URL. Is it possible an existing rule in the .htaccess file within the account's home directory is leading to the redirect? Or, is a script installed on the website that automatically redirects visitors to the secure URL?

    Thank you.
