Does cPanel or WHM Have a Reset Password Link?

I'm a user of both cPanel and WHM. I'm getting login error and I need to reset my password. Can I do this directly from cPanel or WHM without contacting my webhost?

After login authentication error, there is no link on the page where I can reset my password. Is there a link extension to it, e.g. www.site/cpanel/resetpassword.php or something like that?

I've tried contacting my host for support but they are not replying their support tickets and I need access to my sites.

Thanks for your help.

You can not retreive a lost WHM password. If you lost it, you have to contact your webhost to have it reset or changed.

You can go to this thread with the same problem.

Thanks a lot for your help atheros.

Very sad "feature" though. My webhost is not replying to their support tickets at all and they have left me high and dry. :(

Of note, if you have root working for WHM and it is just a cPanel password that isn't working, you can obviously reset the cPanel user's password in WHM > Password Modification area.

I only mention this as both cPanel and WHM were mentioned, since root cannot log into cPanel directly as a user (only using the root password with a cPanel user will work if root login is allowed in Tweak Settings).
