Does cPanel replace dig? No Authority Section

I've noticed that on ALL of my cPanel servers that the dig command does not output the authority section, even when specifying the +authority option.

Anyone have any suggestions or ideas? This is very annoying. On a clean box before cPanel install it prints the authority section, however after a cPanel install it does not so I am assuming cPanel either replaces it or some other setting.
