Does cPanel support FreeBSD 6.2?

I know its not on the system requirements page, but does cPanel support FreeBSD 6.2? There was little change between FreeBSD 6.1 (which I know cPanel supports) and FreeBSD 6.2, but I'm still not sure. Has anyone tried it on 6.2?

FreeBSD 6.2 not yet Officially Supported

At this time cPanel/WHM does not yet officially support FreeBSD 6.2. If you are running cPanel and WHM on FreeBSD 6.2, please report any issues you encounter to the following bugzilla entry:

Once FreeBSD 6.2 is officially supported, it will be posted to our system requirements page under the list of supported Operating Systems. This page can be viewed at:

I will say that from browsing the forums, there appears to be a number of people using cPanel/WHM on FreeBSD 6.2 despite the fact it is not yet officially supported.

David,yesterday my ISP udated our Kernel to FreeBSD 6.2 Stable, it was running great until this morning when upcp ran. Now whm / cpanel are not running, nor is email.

Just an update we are now running on FreeBSD 6.2 with no issues.

The problem we had was due to some bad symlinks which have been fixed.

I have problem with freebsd 6.2 ..
in 3 servers upgraded to 6.2 have the rlimit problem.

and cpanel doesnt works any more ...and reboot all the time every 17 or 19 hours
