Does recompile apache required after update mysql?

    I want to upgrade mysql from 5.0 to 5.5 on my cpanel server.
    Does recompile apache required after update mysql?

    Thanks alot for any info.

    Yes rebuilding Apache & PHP is part of the upgrade process.

    Yes, you must recompile Apache/PHP through EasyApache after upgrading MySQL to a new version. The "MySQL Upgrade" utility will walk you through this process:
