Hello,
We have a client who has parked a .co.uk domain on their .com and are not satisfied that it shows .co.uk when the website loads and wants .com!

Is there a way of forwarding this in CPanel? Was looking at CNAMES but what i tried didnt seem to work

Use domain forwarding under DNS functions in WHM instead. That will do standard forwarding.

whats the procedure?

Hello,
What is the procedure to do this its not really documented all that well

Using the following as an example.

domain.com is hosted on the server but the customer wants a new registered domain.co.uk to forward to domain.com

1. Create a new DNS zone for domain.co.uk and use default zone
2. Go to set forwarding in DNS function
3. Add the following to it
Domain (*.cpanel.net is acceptable) Redirection URL

DOMAIN REDIRECTION URL
domain.co.uk http://www.domain.com
*.domain.co.uk http://www.domain.com

Will that work?

Or has something been missed? or something wrong?

Thanks in advance! It seems you only get 1 or 2 chances before the DNS is cached and changes you make don't seem to do anything for hours :)
