Not sure if you can see this screen shot or if it is too small.

Either way...i have a question regarding e-mail domain forwarding in Cpanel.

    Chrome translated as:

Forwarding e-mail located at the domain level.
In addition to re-rout e-mail account individual, we can send all mail from one domain to another. Warning; The e-mail domain takes precedence over the route to the default address of this area.

At the end of the day, we want to forward all email from one domain, to another domain. Will this option accomplish that and if so how? If all e-mail is coming from abc.com and we are now forwarding to xyc.com it seems the email won't know where to go unless we change MX records and have a catch all account?

An explanation of this feature and changes that might need to be made would be appreciated.

    Thanks

The way email domain forwarding would work would be if admin@domain1.com exists and you have domain forwarding setup to domain2.com, then you'd have to also have admin@domain2.com existing and any emails sent to admin@domain1.com would go to admin@domain2.com

Basically, the account has to exist on both domains for the domain forwarder to function.

Ok so just my brain can wrap around it.

    admin@olddomain.com forwards to admin@newdomain.com

As long as a admin@newdomain exists the mail will be delivered.
