I know how domain forwarders are setup in cPanel. Can anyone tell me, if I have a domain forwarder forwarding domain.com's mails to domain2.com, how will it work, an email sent to abc@domain.com will arrive to which address at domain2.com. Do I have to setup a corresponding email addresses at the other domain like abc@domain2.com as well so that mails for abc@domain.com will go to abc@domain2.com'x inbox.

But wouldn't this lead to domain2 becoming vulnerable to a dictionary attack. I have a client wanting domain forwarding setup.

If you set up a domain forwarder for domain.com to domain2.com, an email sent to abc@domain.com will arrive at abc@domain2.com, same with def@ etc.
