Dear Forum,
I am new to cPanel and WHM and struggling with the host/domain settings in both WHM and cPanel, background is as follows:
I have a rootserver and two different domains, lets say domain1.com and domain2.com.
Under public_html I have created two subdirectories which include the website data for these two domains, the subdirectories are named /domain1 and /domain2
I understood, that by creating a new addon-domain in cPanel I can point a domain to the directories mentioned above.
My questions are as follows:
1) In the scenario given above, what host & domain names could (for example) be used for WHM and the cPanel account itself, given the fact, A) that both domains should be used as addon-domains as described above, and B) that I do not have more domain names registered, so I do not have an additional domain name available for WHM itself.
2) How to create email accounts like [email protected] and [email protected], when I used example.domain1.com as domain for the cPanel (Reseller) account?
Thank you in advance for your kind support.
Best regards
Ralph
